Events for 2010
The social events for the rest of the year are lining up as follows:
- Sunday 29th August ~ The Club BBQ
- Saturday 18th September ~ Club Karaoke / Captains' Night / Club Jug Night.
Whatever you want to call it, it's a night to mark the setting of the sun on the Cricket Season and the dawn of the Rugby Season. Or something like that. Its a Party and an opportunity to hear Mike Beckett sing!!
- Friday 1st October ~ A Club Charity Night, in aid of St John's Hospice.
This will comprise a 4 course meal with wine. 60 tickets available at £20 each and £10 tickets available for the disco afterwards. There will be many great raffle prizes which will be drawn on the night.
The special guest on the night will be Kev Seed and we hope to add others as well.
Start time is 7:00 for 7.30pm.…

- Saturday 4th December ~ The Annual Players Reunion.
The 1st XV will be at home to Prenton and we are hoping to arrange a 3rd XV match as well. More details on the arrangements will follow shortly.
- Friday 31st December ~ New Years Eve
This will be to the same format as previous years, comprsing a 4 course meal with wine.
Tickets will be will be £15.00 for the meal and £7.50 for those coming along for the disco afterwards.

Use of the Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is available for use and offers a Function Suite with bar and catering facilities as well as music, dancing and large screen television / DVD playback equipment.
Use of the Function Suite facilities is available to non-members, provided they are sponsored by an existing member of the Association.

Rugby Club 80th Anniversary
2008 saw the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Rugby Club, which was celebrated in October with a Dinner at the Kingsland in Birkenhead.
